APE"The European Parliamentary Association is a place where members of the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council can meet and establish contacts within a friendly atmosphere in order to maintain functional and personal links".

"Premises are made available to working groups, political groups and national delegations for meetings or discussions"

"The steering committee can include up to a maximum of 29 members. It manages everyday matters, prepares the debates of the assembly of members and executes its decisions."

"'The association requests a fee from its members; the amount of the fee is determined annually by the assembly of members"
